Day 1: Arrival at Yangon (-/-/-)

Meet with our English speaking guide after the arrival at Yangon and transfer to hotel for check in. Start the tour with the visit to the SHWEDAGON PAGODA, a magnificent religious monument which is 9 meter high from its base and cover with 60 tons of gold and a single 75 caret diamonds grace the tip of this stupa. Continue to the KARAWEIK HALL located on the southeast side of the Kandawgyi Lake to take photos. Next, visit the STATE SCHOOL OF ARTS where work from the local talents and the frescoes painted by Ernest and DodProctorare are exhibited. In the afternoon, visit the BOGYOKE AUNG SAN museum which exhibits the life story and general memorabilia of the founder of the independence of Myanmar. In the evening, visit the BOTATAUNG PAGODA which has the glass case containing the hair relic of Buddha. Afterwards, take a leisure stroll around the Botataung jetty for fresh air and relaxation before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Yangon - Kyaikteyo(B/-/-)

After an early breakfast at the hotel, travel to the bus terminal for the journey to the KYAIKTEYO PAGOD (GOLDEN ROCK). The first stop will be at the TAUKKYAN WAR CEMENTERY which is the largest war cemeteries in Myanmar and it is the final resting place for over 6, 000 commonwealth soldiers. The second stop will be at BAGO, the former capital of Kingdom of Mon people. Pay a visit to the SHWETHALYAUNG PAGODA which houses the second largest reclining Buddha image in the world.  Continue the trip until arriving at the Kinpun town at the foot of the Kyaiktiyo Mountain where transportation will be switched from buses to large pick-up trucks for drive to the Yatetaung station and continue on foot to the peak. After arriving at the peak, check in at the guesthouse before taking a leisure stroll around the pagoda and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Return to the guesthouse for overnight stay.

Day 3: Kyaikteyo to Hpa-An (B/-/-)

After breakfast, return to Kinpun and continue travelling to Hpa-an. Check in at the hotel after arrival. The sightseeing stars with a visit to the KAYIN CULTURE MUSEUM. Thedisplays include figurines of Kayin national races, ivory, musical instruments, Buddha's images, household utensils, looms, lacquer wares and literature of the Kayin races. There are two natural cave temple to visit in Hpa-an, the first is the SADDAN CAVE, the fifth longest cave (800 m) in Myanmar.The second one is the KAWKON CAVE which is decorated with different kinds of clay Buddha images and votive tablets dated back to 15th century. Next, we will be visiting the KYAUK KA LATT PAGODA located on a limestone formation and surrounded by a lake. In the evening, visit SHWEYINMYEW PAGODA on the bank of Thanlwin River. It is a serene place with beautiful glass decorations and ideal place to enjoy the sunset. Afterwards, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Hpa-an to Yangon (B/-/-)

After breakfast, take a stroll around the local market place. It is the perfect place to have some Kayin product such as traditional Kayin costumes, Hparzi (Kayin bronze drum) and Kwa (wind instrument made from either buffalo horn or wood). Return to the hotel to check out before transfer to the bus for the return journey to Yangon. Stop by at Thatone for a brief visit to Bayintnyi Cave and its Hot springs before resuming the journey. Arrive in Yangon in the evening and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure from Yangon  (B/-/-)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel before visiting the Kyauktawgyi Pagoda which house one of the biggest Buddha images in Myanmar. Craved from a single marble stone, this image is 37 ft (11M) high and weighs more than 600 tons. The classic name of this image is Lawkachantha Abaya Labamuni (World peace and prosperity). Should time permits; visit the royal elephant camp at Mindama Hill before travel to the airport for the departure flight.
